2nd Motor Ride wif Broken

It was a Thursday, in other words, the one day that I have no class in college. I wake up at noon as usual, and squint to read a message from a cutie. "Jam, what time are you free today?"

Waking up to a cutie's message is awesome. Then my whole day was planned and occupied. I woke up, bathed, helped my family out of the house for their own activities, and went at the back to meet Broke Broke.

It was starting to drizzle, and there was Broke Broke, waiting on my high machine aka motorcycle. LOL. Guys, prince on a white horse is overrated and old fashioned. Now, there's that well-dressed cute boy on a motorcycle waiting for you and just for you! *fawns~*

This time, i wore the helmet and got on the motorcycle with no problem. Then the high experience of scenes zipping by began and everything is clearer since it was during the day. This is my third time on the motor (2 times on the first trip) he sped up way more. I was in seventh heaven! My first trip on the motorcycle in broad daylight!

When we reached, first thing to do is of course get to the cinema! After short assessment of time and movies available, we chose Confession of a Shopaholic. People, I think this movie is one of the must watch. The story is about a girl, who have problems with shopping. Being stinged on by her parents since she was young, she has this unbridled desire to own all the beautiful shoes and clothes that were pretty and expensive but not necessarily made to last. Her credit cards became her magic weapon that brings her all the things she wants. Due to fate and luck, a string of events led her to meet a cute guy she loved and she was the luckiest girl alive! But because of her obsession, she let the man she loved down and disappointed her best friend. Then, she did the right thing and fixed her life plus got over her obsession. This is a touching and beautiful story possibly true in this age and time.

After that, we went and buy a second movie! We chose Knowing cuz Broke Broke has this thing for Nicholas Cage. We jalan jalan a while all around then went back for the movie. The movie was OK. It is pretty creepy and has the makings of a horror movie. The movie is about a single father (Nicholas Cage) whose doing a so-so job at raising his son, Caleb. His son picks an envelope from a 50 year old time capsule that contains dates, number of death and location of major disasters around the globe. That part was really creepy and awesome. Then there's the Apocalypse and whisperer. Wanna know more? Watch it! It's actually not bad. And doomsday is coming this 19th October!

The guy in the cinema who checked our tickets were surprised to see us again and recognized us well. I was surprised he recognized us out of the tonnes of people going into the cinema daily. He took some time to recommend us some movies he think that we would enjoy. Honestly I was a little flattered since he could pick out our faces from the crowd.

Following that is of course... FOOD! We both made our first entrance and trip to Sakae Sushi. Broke Broke and I were disappointed because they ran out of salmon but the sushi is fresh, taste good and the system for ordering was cool! They have this computer next to each table and you get to order the stuff through the system. They have pictures you can enlarge and you can see the ingredients for each type of food they make. That was our first time eating in a place with such system so we had an interesting time figuring and ordering stuff. By the time we ordered it was already closing up since Sakae Sushi was closing in early that day. Just our luck.

Oh, Broke Broke hates vegetables. Watch me as I emphasize "HATE". Eating a load of wasabi was easier than biting into a mouthful of cucumbers. When he bit into his Spicy Salmon Roll, he had so much luck that he extracted all the cucumbers out at 1 go. Imagine the face of someone forcibly drinking the raw egg of an ostrich. Can you imagine it? Yup, that's how dear Broke Broke looked. My feelings were running somewhere between laughing in stitches and emphathizing with him since I'd look like him if I had a mouthful of broccoli.

Broke Broke can eat a lot of wasabi. Putting the wasabi in soy sauce takes away the nose flaring feel so he applied wasabi directly to his sushi minus the soy sauce. I have to say, his tolerance for such stuff is high! He hardly blinked! I wanted to take pictures of him with teary eyes but it didn't happen. So the next time, I helped him stack a little mountain of wasabi on his sushi. He was eager to test himself also. Expecting nothing, I didn't get my camera on ready and I regretted! He got teary-eyes! By the time I got my phone out, it was already over! Dang! I didn't get to take his teary eyed pictures but i still got to take some of his other cute pictures~ XD

Oh, the other thing I did notice was Broke Broke has this really cute gait. Whenever he wants to get on the escalator to go down, he watches the passing steps intently to make sure he steps into the yellow box, which means he'll be a few steps behind. In a way, that is so so incredibly cute! Gah!!! It makes me wanna hold his hand and beseech him to trust me and lead him on the escalator. Oh my goodness where do you find guys this cute?? <3

We wanted to go for another movie after that but the only available movies that won't cross 1am was not too much to our taste so we headed home. I got another motor ride~ The traffic was heavy and I experienced "walking" and weaving to get by stationary cars. I wished that it would rain then so I get the feel of soaking wet while on your bike. Call me crazy but it's an experienced. Imagine getting soaking wet, your clothes plastered to you, and you holding on to a cute guy. Comprande? XD

Thanks to Broke Broke's excellent skills I got very comfortable riding a motor. There's practically no fear. So I had another great outing with a great guy. No need to say but I'm obviously looking forward to our next outing, whenever that is. =3

Motor Ride With Broken

Broke Broke and I instantly hit off as we did click after chatting. We both discovered that we were deprived movie buffs, so we instantly planned for an outing of movie watching!

Last Tuesday, we finally managed to meet up and despite seeing his picture online already, I really have to say, he is cute! It's a really strange world where most people think that they're fugly but I don't see it at all.

When we met, we started chatting and chatting till it was a little late for us to get to an earlier movie. XD He is a nice guy and it is very very easy and comfortable to talk with him.

Right after that has to be the highlight of the whole day. We are going to go to 1 Utama on his motorcycle!! Yes guys, I know. It's just a motorcycle right? What's the big deal?

Well, consider this. I have parents who have always disallowed me from riding a motorcycle. Why? Cuz it's dangerous. Motorcyclist have high mortality rates. Youngsters nowadays drive recklessly, always cutting in and out of a line like the road belongs to their father. Or so said my parents.

As for myself, I find that I am more adventurous after my breakup. I just really wanted to try many many new things. :) Somehow, it makes my life seem more interesting and significant that way. So yeah, I was afraid to ride a motorcycle, but I wanted to just for the experience. I was so excited and kinda anticipated and dreaded the experienced all at once.

When it was time to go, Broke Broke passed me a helmet. The first question I asked him was "How do you wear a helmet". I swear, his expression was weird like I was asking him something really crazy. I know it's lame but I don't know how it works!

Then there was "How do you get up on the seat". He says, "hold on my shoulder and hop on top". I was like, "oh!". Did try it, manage to get on top, and Broke Broke was very considerate. He drove slowly. He eventually sped up a bit and I couldn't quite summon the courage to release myself from the hugging position on the bike. XD It was quite embarrassing.

People, the experience was awesome! It's really different from sitting in a car cuz you get to see all around you. No protection for you but no material resistance either. The reason why motors don't need air conditioner is because the wind totally hits against your skin and you would feel cool! The sensation of scenery and wind zipping by is exhilarating. In high speed, the ride makes you wanna scream out "yeah!!". If you ask for my one word description of the ride, the word I would use is "HIGH".

We bought a movie ticket to watch Hotel For Dogs. It's about this pair of brother and sister who had been put in foster families many times since their parents died. They were doing all they can to feed their dog Friday without their latest foster parents finding out. Their foster parents are plain bimbo weird. Anyways, they ended up rescuing stray dogs with a few more friends till they their own special family. This show had a lot to do with family and doing the right thing plus overcoming adversity. The younger brother is some sort of a genius inventor who makes a whole lot of cool gadgets to keep the dogs happy and satisfied. That part of it is really cool.

Before we went for the movie, Broke Broke and I went to Vietnamese Kitchen for dinner. The atmosphere is nice and the food's good. The service is very good as well. I ordered Vietnam Fried Rice while he had a Lemon chicken chop if i remember. Both food were well decorated. nice to eat and nice to look at. That's pretty good in my books. They served us some sort of peanuts before our meal, and it taste good! It's not the fried kacang that we get from restaurants. This once have gravy and are soft and nice.

After the movie we had another motor ride home! Guys... I love riding motor! It makes you feel really good, like swinging really high on playground swings. Holding the shoulders of a kawaii guy for security isn't bad either. Hehe...

P/S: To protect Broke Broke's privacy, I have agreed not to post his picture on this blog. Plus I think most of you have already seen him.

Breakup on a Rainy Day

What is it about rainy days that make you think of sad memories? I found myself entranced by the drops falling from the sky like it was crying. Involuntarily, my mind took a tour back to my ex relationship.

The first thing that hit my mind were the happy memories from what seemed so long ago. I remembered him holding my hand while his other hand brushed my cheek, telling me that he loved me so much and that there will be no other. There was so much love and feeling in his eyes that it could not have been a lie. I was afraid to believe because I was hurt before so he promised me that he will tell me if he ever felt his feelings change. He promised I would be the first to know.

There were many other sweet happy memories that he said so earnestly that I have no other choice but to believe it. Very slowly, he made me trust in him, to believe what he say, to trust that I was safe in this person's arms.

Whenever he made promises of the future, I would always say "we don't know that". and he would always say "I will prove it to you by doing it".

Tears fell from my eyes when even happy memories felt stinging sharp to my heart.

Finally I did trust him, and so very much at that. Sadly, he could not keep his promises, not one. Not any that means so much to me.

It's quite easy to make a promise. It's even easier to break it. It was quite heart breaking but I was the last to know about his cheating and lying. When I finally trusted him, he proves to me that he can't be trusted.

It made me wonder, where did all the love go.

I guess not all my tears have run dry yet. :) Someday I would be able to look back at myself and not feel the overpowering sadness that will make me tear up.

It does teach me that promises should not be made so lightly. Trust should not be manipulated. Important people should not be let down. :) And always to uphold your part of the bargain.

Cute boy who's with Memphis

OMG, since Memphis arrived yesterday I can't help it but to go and pick up another cute guy! I am a crazy yaoi fan.

He's dark and feels wonderful to the touch. If Memphis is hot he can cool Memphis off. Both of them work in harmony for me.

Guys, meet Zachariah~ My very own Notebook Cooler ZM-NC 1000.

I actually had to pick either the Cooler Master Infinite or him. XD Ended up I picked him for his cool aluminium body. Hehehe..

The New Love of My Life

After waiting for so long, finally, my new boyfriend has arrived. I met him about a month ago, when I so happen to pass by his website. I only saw his picture but I was deeply in love with him already.

I made a move to acquire him on 5th of March 2009, and had a confirmation that I would be receiving him in my very home in 7 working days. This news had me very excited and I counted the moments till I could have him in my arms.
A little later, I received an email saying I would only be able to receive him on the 23rd March 2009. I was devastated. I have long waited for him and was very disappointed at the prolonged wait.

Then I received good news yesterday on the 13th March 2009. :) The new love of my life would arrive on the 14th of March, which is today! I woke up earlier than I usually would on a lazy Saturday morning, at 8.45 am to be precise. I kept myself awake while anxiously looking out my door, afraid he would not arrive or that I would miss his arrival.

Finally at 10.35 am, I heard a call at my gates, and I promptly welcomed him warmly into my home. I took him out of his clothing, just to notice that he is far more beautiful than he seemed on the picture. I couldn't wait any longer. I put him on my lap and turned him on with fingers trembling with excitement.

His face was bright and without a single fault. His body was firm and I could manipulate him however, whenever I want. His skin color was sexy and beautiful all at the same time. This baby will belong to me and only me.

Ladies and gentleman, meet my new boyfriend, Memphis. It's pronounced as Mam-fis.

He's a Dell Studio 15, model 1555. His color is ruby red. Isn't it sexy?

He's my first laptop and probably my last too. With amazing specs and amazing looks, what more could a girl want?

XD Every time I look at him I fall in love all over again. I will take care of my sexy Memphis so that he can be with me as long as I can. ^_^ This baby really makes my day.

Chickie and Jam Goes on adventure!

It's a Sunday morning... What do you think you should do? Go back to sleep of course! You lie back down... You start drifting off to dream land... And remember you have an outing with your friend! Yup guys, that's how I started my Sunday morning.

I arrived at Kelana Jaya LRT station to meet Chickie, just to have him tell me that he's already in Sunway Pyramid! Hello! I am direction blind and I haven't taken a bus to Sunway Pyramid for years. He gives me instructions to go down and take a T623 Rapid KL bus and cross my fingers that I'll reach Sunway Pyramid.

Luckily I did arrive and Chickie came to meet me. His hair was longer this time and no gigantic backpack containing his laptop. Our first task of the day is to find breakfast! After endlessly wandering around, we settled for Wendy's. That was my first time eating in Wendy's. I ordered a weird snack thing with a baked potato in sour cream, nuggets and Ribena. One of the weirdest stuff I've eaten but not all that bad. :D While I was taking picture of my meal, Chickie was worried that I'll take his picture. :P In truth I actually did and more than 1. You really just have this urge to do something your friend doesn't want you to do. XD I can't help it.

Anyways right after that we exit Sunway Pyramid and took another Rapid KL U63 to Midvalley Megamall. Guys and girls, if you think Chickie is so innocent, think again. I can assure you that Chickie stares at a bountiful amount of girls throughout our whole trip. :D

When we arrived at Midvalley Megamall, the first thing we headed to was the arcade~ chicks started with the Japanese train game arcade that I have no idea how it works. :) He seems to enjoy himself a lot while I stood and watched him. ^_^" You guys should see how frustrated he gets when he doesn't stop at the designated destination.

After that we tried the bowling machine. Chickie has a secret technique to winning this stuff. He literally tosses the ball at the screen. XD I was afraid he was going to crack the screen with the ball. He was definitely setting a bad example to the little kids who was playing on the same game next to him. I could only smile at the mother of a little girl when she stared at chickie for his techniques in playing the game.

The following game we played was the "itaiwani" game. You're suppose to hit the crocodiles that come out of the holes. I took 1 turn playing it and felt all the tension I never knew I had melt away. When Chickie had his turn, he was seriously hitting the crocodiles. Heard of the expression "shoot to kill"? Chickie is using "hit to kill".He didn't manage to top the high score for the game so he insisted on going on the game again and again until he gave up because his hand hurt. Chickie's "persistence" attracted A LOT of attention from people both young and old. Again, all I could do was smile at the people staring.

After the game, we took a brief pause. Chickie got so worked up playing to win that he had to use his inhaler. Playing these arcade games had an opposite effect on both of us. On me it was relaxing and fun. On chicks, it was all or nothing. He must win!! This is a good example as to how a single thing can bring different impacts to different people.

Next, Chickie went on a little kiddie ride train and played with it. :) This little boy LOVES trains. If he was born in Japan he'd probably be driving or fixing one as both a job and a passion. See the butt sticking out in the train ride. Yes people, that is Chickie's butt! Isn't he cute?

Lastly we played the air hockey game! It is definitely one of my most favourite arcade games that I never get tired of. Chickie usually travels alone so he never gets an opportunity to play it much either. So who do you think won? Me or Chicks? XD Me of course! Beat him flat at 6-1 the first time and 5-1 the second time. I would go for another round if Chickie didn't look like he was going to fold over from over exerting himself. Just in case you guys were wondering, no, the girl in the picture is not me. How can I take a picture of myself?

After that we travelled to Low Yat Plaza for a drink of coffee in Coffee Bean! Guys, there is no drink out on Earth that is better than coffee. When I felt that chocolaty coffee mix go down my throat so smoothly... Gah, I wanna drink one now! I'm a huge fan of coffee. I felt instantly revitalized after the drink. Chickie had a Sunrise or something. It's suppose to be a weird orange mix that he didn't look like he enjoyed much.
Later we went for a short walk to Pavilion but sadly, since we lacked time, we couldn't take dinner together. We did make plans to have dinner there in the future.

We walked back towards the train station and Chickie started feeling really fatiqued. He was so tired he fell asleep in the train! I felt like I could go for another spin! And he was so worried that I was going to be so tired after travelling for so long.

After a whole day of outing with Chicks, I guess I did learn quite a bit about him. He likes to travel. He lives for it, and finds enjoyment from it. It is how he practices his freedom. He's intrigued by the process of things in development. He can't stand it, he NEEDS to take pictures of ongoing constructions. :) He loves trains. He'd live in one and travel everyday on it if he could. He always has a burning desire to succeed and win. All else is not accepted. Hokkiens would categorise him as a "kiasu lang". XD Also, he is always considerate of people around him. He likes to learn about things. He's kinda like a really cute and curious little boy. All in all, he is a friend that I'm very glad that I had the honour to meet.

*** People who did read this blog and want to see the face of Chickie sleeping, do appeal by writing in a comment that you want to see his sleeping face. :P Maybe chicks will be obliged to say yes to showing his face to the world.

Fighting

One thing that is bound to happen when you're in a relationship is arguing. It seems that the closer you are to somebody, the more liable you are to arguing. You can argue about the smallest issues.

Arguing in a relationship can create 2 vastly different results. The first would be to strengthen your relationship. The other is to weaken it.

Let's say that you and your partner are discussing an issue. Your partner keeps saying his part; why he's unhappy, why he's pissed off, why he's in pain and why the argument is going on. When this happens, what should you do?

This point is really really important and you should do this whenever your partner is talking. LISTEN TO HIM. It is not easy to speak up sometimes. Bare in mind that what he has to say is very important. You are an important person to him so you get the perks of listening in on stuff other people may not get to listen in on. He could choose to lie to you but he did not, so anything he say is worth listening to.

Second point is to keep an open mind. When you argue with a person, it means something went wrong somewhere. Often times, both parties are at fault. Be ready to admit your mistake if you really did have one. Do not be motivated to "win" the fight aka kiasu. What is more important, your partner or your pride?

Third point is don't lie. Why? When you lie, you have to lie a second time to cover your previous, and so on. Your relationship will be bound by so much lies that if he ever finds out the truth, the shock will be too much. It's always good to be honest. If you really love the person, you will be honest to him and vice versa. Communication is very important.

Fourthly, don't be a hypocrite. Don't expect your partner to do something when you won't do it yourself. And since your partner can do it, there's no real reason you shouldn't at least try. Following this fourth point can prevent arguments on small issues.

Have you ever thought of why when you argue, words never seem to be able to penetrate your partner? No matter how loud your voice is, no matter how frustrated you are?

Imagine the heart as a very timid and shy creature. In truth, our heart really is. Everyone is afraid of being rejected, being hurt, etc etc. It takes us a while to trust in a person and love the person.

So when you argue and shout, the heart of your partner takes up a 'fight or flight' stance. Your partner's heart will move farther away and shout back. Then you heart will go through the process too and put it on repeat. Distance is created between 2 person's bonding when such violent argument breaks out.

So what do you do to entice a shy and timid creature like your heart? Sit down with it. Talk to it calmly. Do not be afraid to tell it your feelings. When you speak softly, the heart will lean in closer to hear you. His heart will want to be in the close proximity of your heart to share pain and fix problems. Don't let problems keep you apart. Solving problems calmly and productively together makes your hearts closer to each others.

In a fight, there's no real winner or loser, because both parties will get hurt. Is it a real victory when you go to your corner and lick your wound while your partner is also feeling depressed about arguing?

Go for the win-win method. When you have a problem, talk about it. Never keep it in your heart because it will rot and fester. When that happens you will be unbelievably angry at your partner and you won't be able to talk without shouting. In fact, it can fester so badly that you can forget the real reason why you're shouting.

This goes especially for parents. When you argue your children will suffer too. They will feel depressed because their parents are not ok with each other. It also sets a bad example for your children. They might think who speaks the loudest win. Teach them to talk and compromise. If you're already asking your children to do that, don't be a hypocrite. If they can do it, why can't you? You're suppose to be older and wiser because you're an adult. Show a good example and act like one.

KDU

I've been going to KDU College for 3 weeks now for my twinning program with Murdoch. The environment is ok. It looks spacious, it's air conditioned, the lecturers and tutors are awesome and everything's computerized!

For a computer dummy like me, the whole system had me in shock. We need to download our slides from our Murdoch site. We have LITE test online. We will eventually get to play with cool stuff like the control board for radio DJs. We actually have projectors in every room.

Of course we're really talking about apples and oranges if you want to compare TAR College with Murdoch-KDU twinning.

1. For starters, KDU has a classy and professional look. TAR is a little more common class.

2. KDU has an elevator! In TAR, we have to walk up 3 floors even if it kills us.

3. There's a toilet on every floor in KDU. Back in TAR, the toilet's on the BOTTOM floor. Imagine, you really have to pee. You need to run down 3 floors. After that you have to run back up 3 floors so you won't miss too much of class. If you're dying to pee, you'll end up really feeling like dying after you pee.

4. There's actually toilet paper in KDU toilets! In TAR, they have the toilet paper holders, but there's never any toilet paper in it (where's the sense in that?!).

5. Maybe due to the fact that KDU is smaller, you don't have to walk a mile just to get to a different block and class like back in TAR. This means you won't get wet when it's raining. We sometimes had to use an umbrella to get to class in TAR!

6. All lectures are conducted using power point presentation. Imagine my shock when the lecturers are saying "using transparency slides are so ancient! I don't think there's ny colleges doing that anymore". TAR uses transparency slides pratically all the time! O.o It's kinda like I took a time machine from past to future when i graduated from TAR and entered KDU.

7. Get this. There's WiFi in KDU. We can even use it in the toilet. Just not in classes. In TAR, we don't get any WiFi except in CIT and library.

8. KDU cafeteria has nice chairs and tables that makes it look like a nice place to eat in. In TAR, both canteens are using tables and chairs like our canteens back in primary school. The Club house is better but we use normal plastic chairs and tables there. Plus, it's squeezed so close together that sometimes you can't exit the area without asking someone to get off their seat and push in the chair to give you some space.

9. In KDU, our student cards actualy have a usage. You can buy points to put in it so you can use it to buy food, oark in our KDU parking space, get in the computer lab to use, ring the staff to come to our aid when we have questions, print out documents or stuff we want, etc. In TAR, our student cards are for guards to make sure we're students (although most anyone can walk in at the main gate. Big sweat there) and to get in the library.

10. KDU's bursary has a system where you can take a number and wait for your turn (eventhough the system is pretty weird. You take a number inside and wait outside. You can watch whatever programs KDU shows you on the TV while waiting for your number to come). In TAR, the bursary will have a REALLY long bee line waiting for their turn to pay. There, people who line up for their friends, like 1 fella lining up for 5 friends, is inevitably a trend. It would totally piss you off to see people in front of you letting a bunch of people cut in.

The 2 colleges are really different. I would not say I did not enjoy myself in TAR but KDU is a brand new experience for me and I'm loving it~ Of course, it being so close to my home, I never have to take another train for an hour all they way to college ever again!
